Before we arrived on the Galapagos, we heard a BBC radio piece on the “From our own correspondent” podcast about the potential impact of El Niño on the island wildlife. The El Niño brings a change in the important cold water currents, which causes a die off in the sea weed that the Marine Iguanas eat.
